It is necessary to submit it no later than two weeks before the date of dismissal. Therefore, this date must be planned in advance. For example, if you decide to submit an application on March 1, it means the date of dismissal will be March 15. A statement for dismissal of one’s own free will is one of the most common and calm forms of dismissal. For two weeks to detain you at work, have no right. And on the last working day, you should give all your documents on your hands and terminate the employment contract with you. In addition, the accounting department should calculate with you during these two weeks.

There are cases when, in response to the statement, the boss decides to dismiss you not at his own request. So if you are pregnant or you have a child under the age of three years, they have no right to fire you. The same applies to the case if you are a single mother. However, in this case, the child’s age increases to 14 years.

After all, it is better if you are remembered with kindness and good and positive impressions will remain of you. In addition, do not forget that at your new job they will surely want to hear reviews from you from your previous place. And if you left work with a scandal or just in a bad relationship, then it is unlikely that positive reviews will be left about you. And so that this does not happen, remember a few rules of good dismissal.

Your boss should be the first to know that you decided to leave. Even if you want to share this with colleagues, it is better to do this after you said to the boss.

It is advisable to explain the reason for your departure. Of course you are not required to do this. But you want to maintain good relations with the authorities. Therefore, you can just talk and explain the reason for the dismissal.

Ask your boss to give you good recommendations. At the same time, be sure to specify by what phone your new employer will be able to get a review about you.
