You probably thought why the tile is always cold? This feature is due to its increased ability to conduct heat, as a result of which it absorbs with no less excitement and gives the cold, which is saturated from the ground. It is very, very, very unpleasant to stand on the forever icy tiled floor, especially in winter. But the floors lined with tiles are very common, for example, in bathrooms, corridors and kitchens.
A great solution to such a drawback will be a warm electric floor for tiles, which is quite simple and relatively inexpensive to mount. Such a variety of additional heating systems, unlike water, can be installed not only in private houses, but also urban apartments.
A similar system functions on the principle of heating the cement screed and tiles laid on it, thanks to components capable of converting electricity into its thermal variety.
When installing an electric system of a warm floor, you can use several varieties of heating elements:
electric cables;
thermomas;
carbon rods;
infrared film.
The method of laying the electric floor, which has already become classic, is based on the use of cables (two -core and one -core). It is not difficult to mount such a base, and not in one way: for example, you can make them under a screed, but you can do without it.
When choosing cables for arranging a system, you must definitely familiarize yourself with the individual characteristics of each of them, determine the optimal power indicators, acceptable in specific use of use, make sure that heating elements, on which the safe operation of the entire complex will directly depend.
Even more convenient, and even noticeably profitable, will be the use of thermometers that have proven themselves in interaction with tiles. They are even more simple in installation, and their thickness is much smaller than in cable floors, since they require a thinner screed. These systems heat up faster and consume less electricity than cable.
Carbon nets, where rods act as heating elements are no less effective in working with tiles: they are just as thin and economical. But, since this type of heaters, like another, even more innovative, film infrared floor, is still little tested and not fully studied, there are many “white spots” in their work.
That is why before buying you need to study the reviews of those who have already used such materials, and carefully weigh all the advantages and disadvantages.
