Parquet and multi -layer board

Parquet and multi -layer board

Parquet board is specially made from several layers of wood veneer. This is given to her sufficient strength and the ability to vary the front surface layer. The latter contains the wood of valuable species, it is small in thickness, but it is the appearance of the floor and the price of the parquet board depends on it. This front layer is oiled or varnished to save the consumer from further paintwork of the floor.

The modern domestic market offers unified parquet boards: 1.8-2.2 m long, width 0.14-0.20 m, thickness from 10 to15 mm. A simple and quick connection of parquet boards to the castle is provided by a comb and a groove. Parquet boards are laid in a “floating” way: without fixing the coating on a bearing base. Simplicity of execution does not require professional skills and, therefore, paying for the relevant services of parquet affairs masters. However, the conditions of laying require impeccable observance as the final stage of finishing work. The walls are plastered. No high humidity or low temperature (from 10 degrees). In the alignment of the floor, mixtures with self -leveling properties or cement screed are used. Inattention to these conditions can lead to defects and deformation of the board, and the loosening of the castle joints will finally destroy the quality of the styling.

The moisture resistance of the parquet board is reinforced and complemented by a special vapor barrier film laid under the floor. For effective sound insulation of the floor, foamed polyethylene is placed under the coating. He extinguishes sounds when moving on parquet boards. The “floating” styling method is accompanied by the abandonment of a 1-centimeter deformation seam around the entire perimeter. After laying the floor boards, the skirting boards are fixed to the wall using self -tapping screws.

Haro -high -quality Haro parquet in itself has sufficient moisture resistance. But this does not mean that it can be tested for a long time in a humid environment: water and other liquids should be wiped quickly in order to prevent even the possibility of deformation. A vacuum cleaner or a wet rag is enough to clean the floor, however, using detergents saturated with sand or abrasive dust, is not allowed.
