Spectral design solutions

The work of the designer is akin to the artist’s work. After all, both of them should masterfully possess the color. And for this it is necessary to study the features of each shade, their combination with each other, the impact on the mood of a person, etc.D. Feeling “like a fish in water” in a spectral analysis, you can create amazing interiors with the help of original color solutions.

And first you should learn the main color series – the one that consists of a rainbow. Connecting some of them, you can get additional shades. But along with chromatic, there are colorless paints – black, white and intermediate between them gray.

Having learned to “play” in color, you should also find out how this or that shade affects the mood and psychological state of a person. And also find out the reverse dependence – as the preference of a particular color scheme determines the character of a person.

Only by owning the totality of this knowledge, the designer will be able to choose the right color solutions for the design of each interior. After all, each order should be approached individually, t.To. perception of the components of the spectrum of each person, different from the addictions of others. And if a certain combination of colors is valid for one person, then in another this combination can cause an oppressive state.

But the psychological aspect in the selection of color solutions to the designer will not be enough. He must also take into account the size of the premises, their functional affiliation, the location of the windows, the texture of the furniture, etc.p. For example, for the bathroom, the colors associated with water are good – blue and white. For the kitchen and the dining room, warm colors of soft shades (orange, yellow).

The windows, as already mentioned, also “dictate” their own rules: the cold colors “prefer” the “prefer” to the south side, while the northern ones are warm shades. But the same colors can have both light and dark shades. So, muffled tones can visually increase the parameters of the room, and bright colors, on the contrary, are reduced.

And one more rule: you can’t use only one tone in the design of the room – furniture and curtains should not merge with the walls. But the incompatible should also not be combined. It is necessary to take into account the interaction with the color among themselves: they either harmonize well or are in permissible contrast. Everything else is a continuous kitsch.
