The official of the northern capital is ready to “get rid of the Soviet heritage”

The infrastructure of St. Petersburg is a monstrous mixture of worn and obsolete even moral communications. This was stated by one of the representatives of the administration of the Governor of the city. In addition, even when “updating” objects or the construction of new ones, as a rule, all the same “morally outdated” methods are used. Therefore, soon a project will be developed in the city administration providing for preferences for contractors and subcontractors using innovative construction methods. I wonder how soon new jokes “in the topic” will appear?

However, not all new methods are useless or harmful. Rather, “effective managers” understand them quite strange. Indeed, at the moment, even sewer hatches of St. Petersburg are a constant source of scandals, one way or another related to municipalities. And what could be easier than a metal hatch?

It seems that St. Petersburg will soon finally turn into the “most innovative-ankdotic” city, eclipsing even the notorious Skolkovo. In the memory of the townspeople, the idea of Valentina Matvienko is still alive. Now, apparently, there is another round of struggle for innovation. The struggle of merciless and, often, meaningless. It is enough to recall the complete impotence of the contractors during the construction of the stadium on Krestovsky Island, which was positioned as “the most modern in the world”. As a result, in a city where Zenit is perhaps an official religion, there is neither a new stadium, nor, apparently, in this guilty “innovators”.

According to a number of leading professionals, the situation in the city, and, perhaps, in the whole country it is unlikely to change in the near future. And it’s not about the notorious political will and not even the “kickbacks and Rospilel” who were stubborn. The point is in chronic unwillingness, and often inability to listen to professionals in their field. Not all of them are “inveterate scoops”, because in private construction new methods, although slower than usual, are introduced. Many enterprises in St. Petersburg and the region are quite competitive and in the foreign market of goods and services. Just deputies of “professional officials” listen to “professional officials who are primarily in large cities in large cities.
